Sebastian Junger and Tim Hetherington's year dug in with the Second
Platoon in one of Afghanistan's most strategically crucial valleys
reveals extraordinary insight into the surreal combination of back
breaking labor, deadly firefights, and camaraderie as the soldiers
painfully push back the Taliban.
KORENGAL
Director: Sebastion Junger
Stars: LaMonta Caldwell, Miquel Cortez, Stephen Gillespie
IMDB.com Page
Korengal picks up where Restrepo left off; the same men, the same
valley, the same commanders, but a very different look at the experience
of war.
This is one of the best war documentaries that I have ever seen. An absolute must see.
ReplyDeleteI agree. It shows a part of being overseas and in war that most people don't really understand.
ReplyDeleteThe sequel Korengal is also very good.
